I so enjoy these posts of your inner journey. I too have been going through waves of grief and loss, from the loss of family and my beloved dog Roxy, the loss of a 20 year relationship that I have been letting go of for a very long time, and the cord being finally cut. It’s been rough, I have cried a lot...but I let the tears flow. Through those tears the feelings get released and we can feel free. Free to live, to express ourselves in a real and loving way to our friends and family and open up our hearts, to all the possibility that awaits us in this life. Blessings to you my friend. 🙏🏻💓😇

I'm enjoying your inner journey, Jeff. Also a recovering addict, I was drawn to the calm of buddhist philosophy and adopted yoga and meditation as a lifestyle. It saved my life, literally. And recently I went to re-read some books from my career years (e.g. "7 Habits of Effective People") and realised how they were all about how to manipulate each other. Not a compassionate approach to life, but one that fits well into a capitalistic system, no doubt. Namaste.

Wo, that's deep Lorrie. I never thought of it that way. But yes...manipulation is the byproduct of the control freaks out there. Of course they don't see it as freakish, they make their behavior seem holy, as if they are helping others and the world so much. The tip off is how "aggrieved" they feel when you stand your ground with them and tell them no, you're not going to be a part of it.

Nice read Jeff…imagine losing your family’s leader before your Senior year. Changed our family dynamic before it even materialized…long life, long story my friend. Everyone we meet is fighting a battle within their selves.

Awesome Jeff, I’ve been having some amazing wins in my life which are almost always paired with life pausing triggers. I can relate to observing, learning and listening to the body.

That's great Chris you can recognize it rather than moving full speed ahead. Appreciate you.
